Chris Brown broke the news to his fans early this morning that he is currently working on a new project with singer Keyshia Cole. There is no word as to whether the duo were working on something for Brown’s next studio release or Cole’s album which will hit stores later this year. Last month, That Grape Juice reported that Brown has logged some studio time with Young Money rapper Drake.

While many might be confused about how a Brown/Cole collaboration will sound, they simply have to reflect on what he did with Tank on the song ‘Take My Time’ from his under-appreciated ‘Graffiti’ album. Brown is a versatile artist and while his technique is a bit rough, he certainly has a lot of potential for growth unlike certain other acts who are currently popular on the charts.

Bouncing Baby Boy: Singer Keyshia Cole and Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Daniel Gibson are celebrating the birth of their first child, a son named Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr. Junior entered the world March 2 at 11:54 p.m., weighing in at a healthy seven pounds, three ounces.

“Both mother and baby are doing great,” said Cole’s publicist, Tresa Sanders. “Keyshia would also like to give a special thankyou to her fans that have been with her since the beginning, sharing in her growth as a woman and an artist.”

It’s been an eventful year for the singer. She and Gibson, 24, announced in January that they became engaged on New Year’s Eve and were expecting a little bundle of joy. She also makes her movie debut next month in Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married Too and has an album due later in 2010.

Keyshia Cole went into labor last night and has finally delivered the baby. While we there is no word of the sex of the baby or the name we do know that both Keyshia Cole and the baby are doing fine. According to Keyshia Cole’s bestfriend forever, Monica:

“Wanted u guys to know I give KC all of your messages & she ALWAYS graciously thanks u. Sending her my love especially tonite. That’s my girl”

R&B singer Keyshia Cole’s younger sister Elite got a little mess started last night on Twitter when she sent out a tweet congratulating Keyshia on being a mom, leading people to believe that she had given birth. Several hours later Elite got back on the popular social networking site letting people know that she was just testing people to see how it would go and if it would spread to the blogs.

Well, mission accomplished. It did. And now you’ve got people all confused. If you want your sister back in your life, this is definitely not the way to go.

Meanwhile, Monica confirmed on Twitter that KC is still pregnant and does NOT have a Twitter account.

Last month, Keyshia put out a statement saying that she isn’t in contact with her mother or her sisters so that she could find some peace with her and her new family.

It’s time that I clear the air. It’s not a secret that I haven’t been in contact with my mother Frankie, and my sisters Neffe and Elite and I never wanted to air out our differences to the public. While I won’t go into detail here I find it necessary to let you guys know I decided to stop communication with them because I was at a point in my life where I needed serenity and peace to move forward.
